Question -------------> INFOS needed on DRATV Lifan dream engine 120cc for atc70 <----------

I need infos about swapping a lifan 120cc dream engine from dratv into my little 70... It has electric start and 4 speed down

this is gonna be my xmast gift from me to me!

I know it will bolt right up in the frame and the foot peg bolt right on the engine. But i need to know if the accessories around the engine will fit?

-Does the chain needs to bee longer / shorter?
-Does the NOS air filter box will fit?
-Will my new throttle cable will fit?
-I might buy a COBRA exhaust at the same time does it worth the money?

-What's the best place to put the 12v batterie? on the skid plate? into frame?

    Ho yeah last question!!!

Does anybody ever deal with DRATV for this engine? how was the shipping and the product shipped? I'll wait a bit before ordering my parts

I have ordered parts from them in the past, no problems fast shipping. I'm unsure on the 120cc engine, I am sure someone knows here.

The chain is the same length. Not sure which front sprocket your engine will come with. You may have to go to a slightly different chain depending on your front sprocket size. The biggest problem is often the carb hits the frame. You probably won't have much clearance from the front of the engine to the back of the front tire. You might be able to get away with it if you don't run a front fender. If you want to run a front fender, you will more than likely have to lengthen your frame. The best place for the bettery is on top of the rear skid plate in side the frame, you will have to build a battery mount if you want electric start. You will have to fab up a wiring harness or buy the parts from DR. ATV for the wiring harness for it to be a plug and play type of deal. You will probably have to buy a differnt intake for the carb to clear the stock frame.

My guess is the stock air box will not fit because of the carb being larger. I did have 2 battery trays I built to mount on the skid plate. I sold one, but not sure about the second one.

Looks like by the pictures.. all electronics are there.. You would need a kill switch and a air filter.. Maybe a shorter intake. Throttle cable most likely will have to be shortened. It covers a lot of it on their website.

Here is the link for common questions. It covers the front fender questions.

Intake will need to be modified or find an angle one. As vealmonkey stated, you will most likely hit the front fender. My 110 barley touches the fender.
