In Michigan, any firework that leaves the ground is illegal, also explosive type things like fire crackers are illegal. so basically we have a bunch of lame fountains and things of that nature. you can go to a firework show and see the good stuff but no private sales to public.

but a quick drive to Ohio can change that

really? where at? I have never been able to buy what i above mentioned In Michigan. we drive to florida each year and as soon as you hit ohio theres Firework advertisements everywhere. I have always been told and its common knowledge for everyone i talk to that Michigan doesnt have the fireworks other states do. maybe its not a state thing and its a county thing or something...?

I think you may be jumping the gun. There is no mention of Fireworks being banned. Pretty bizarre story though.

here in indiana we have what they call illegal out of state fireworks, you can still buy them here, just have to sign a waiver stating that you are going to use them out of state..but come to think of it i dont remember signing anything this past year, so maybe they did away with the waiver thing

RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT! AND NEVER LOOK BACK, THEY ARE TOO FAR BEHIND TO SEE!!

Id rather have a sister in a WHORE HOUSE than a brother in a FORD!

In NY we aren't even allowed to have Sparklers legally although they are sold at a lot of stores here.
