Its the earliest model KLT 250A, judging from the decals. They handle okay if the rear end is locked, and not in differential mode. It looks to me like that one is electric start only, no optional kick from the factory. I have a 200 that looks a lot similar, and I believe mine is a 1981. They are good workhorse machines. I think they would be okay for someone to learn how to work a hand clutch on, as the 200 and 250 all have manual clutch. Good luck, and pick it up if the price is low!
