Angry Please Begging for an answer!!

    Ok this is the deal,

I got a honda 185s pretty sure it's a 1983 because it has suspension front end. Just a couple question
That i cannot seem to find answers anywhere else..

    Ok
    1. I just replaced the carb, Brand new i mean adjusted every whitch way..
Can not seem to get it to pull start , I mean i must literally pull it behind a car until it gets warmed up a little. Then untie it and drive off.. Rides great after that untill i shut it off for about 10 to 15 min. Then i must do all over again.

I mean when i shut it off after its warm. It will pull and start right up first pull..
    I have no idea..

I mean i hate pullign this thing for 20 min for it to start then shut right back off..

Anyway i heard it was spark plug. So brand new one, Heard carb, So brand new one..
Cleaned petcoke and fuel line.. Dont know....

    2. Zomg, I have bought 2 manuals hoping it would help but nothing..

Got my front suspension end off. Took tire off brake cables Etc... How the heck do i get the hub off the forks..

Sheesh is there a bolt or something? I tried everything and the manuals suck.. No help at all..
i dont know pictures will be nice also..

Thanks in advance and ill upload photos tomorrow of my project..

If you're not using a factory Honda manual, then that would be your 1st problem.
Aftermarket manuals generally suck, and cover too many years of model / models to sometimes give you the specific technical information you're looking for.

A real factory manual will properly instruct you how to disassemble the front wheel / hub / axle...check timing on the motor, stock carb specs and adjusment...how to adjust the valves...etc.

If you can't locate a good pdf copy of the factory manual, then check Ebay and spend a few bucks on one. Worth every penny if you work on your machines.

Other than that, but I think the new carb is probably not a solution to your problem...nor a new spark plug.

Long story short...get a good manual and go from there..."mickey-mousing" your motor is not going to solve your problems.

Didnt you just say you had a manual or two? Use your head, and look in there, it shows you what to do.

Sounds like it needs rings. Does it smoke abnormally? It is a four stroke so there should be little to no disable smoke.

5 speed manual with no clutch?? Seems like it'd be hard to get into gear, no?

As for the starting, sounds like it could be valves out of adjustment, or maybe an air leak possibly?
