Hello all forum goers, i am new to the forum, Great forum by the way good information as i am a newb to the three wheeler world. Had 2 90's growing up. just got 2 more. 1 parts 1 runs. I have a farmer that will either give me or sell it to me really cheap for like 50 bucks. Its a 83 big red. He says it needs a new rear end. Im just kind of confused what is wrong witha chain driven rear end. i will be getting a 2nd 83 big red for parts and the rear end for 25 bucks. Any help is nice Thanks guys

I've gotten a few with spun hubs.

Sellers said gearbox was bad, wouldn't go, sounded horrible etc etc

oooo hopfully its just something little like a spun hub. How hard is it to change teh rear ends out of these? I've worked on a bunch of snowmobiles and cars just wondering how bad it is?
