Brake Job 1985 Honda ATC 250

hey guys i made a post once before a logn time ago when i first got my 2 three wheelers about what i should do to get them running well i have one of them running but it has no brakes what so ever.

I am going to to replace the brake pads (if it has any) but im not sure how to start dismantling it i took the 2 rear tires off but i am having trouble accessing the brakes.

Also since it sat up for 20 years i was wondering what else i might need to do to the brake lines and stuff.

I need an answer asap because i plan on using it next week on a camping trip.

Also if i am disappointed with the work i have done after the camping trip i will be putting it up for sale and start work on the other one i have.

But for now i really need to get the brakes working.

Everytime i hit the brakes wether its the footpeg or the ones on the handle bars nothing happens.

    any ideals?

Is it a 250 sx, big red or 250r? If its a sx or big red probrably the hardest part will be getting the drum off. I had to drill the retaining screws out on my sx, after that its pretty straight forward.Make sure that you clean the acuator very well, maybe put some neversieze on the shaft and also make sure that you put the acuator arm back on in the same position
