New to the board
hello i buy a ytm 200 shaft 84 and my friend gat a ytm 200 shaft 83 but we have a probleme with my freind and we don't know what it is. when he ride more than 30 min. his trike begin to be coward and turn off. if we wait for about 15 min. to start it it's ok but not before. it's like when the motor is hot we can't ride no more. did somebody can tell me what's wrong with the motor. thank' and have a nice day.

When say coward? what does it do? Have you done a plug check? Whats the plug look like? wet and black its fouled and it running to rich. If you check your spark when it dies and you have none you have a electrical issue. If you have no spark your coil or stator my be at fault. My guess is you have a electrical issue and when they get hot they loose amps to power the trike. When they cool down they work. I think both bike run the same coil to check if it the coil. Good luck

it's a brand new coil that's not the probleme and the plug is dry and black what' that mean?

Check to make sure the gas tank is venting.

not getting enough gas, check vent line to the carb and tank. I'd still check spark right after it dies. I had the same issue with a stator when it got hot.
