I just purchased a 1986 Honda 350x in mint show room condition for 3600.00 and was wondering if I got a good deal. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Welcome to 3ww. Your question will be easier to answer with pics of the bike and some more details. I look forward to seeing them as I am redoing a '85 as we speak.

IMO you over-paid a lot, but it's all relative. It seems like every region of the country has a glut of a few types of trikes, while being virtually barren of others. With the cost of gas to travel to a far away state....and how much you enjoy wrenching, you just never know. Here in Fl. there are pristine 350X's that sell for $1,200 regularly on CL, but try finding a Big Red, a Tecate, or a Tri-Z that is in similar shape for a decent price and your SOL.
As long as you can still buy food, and your happy who gives a! Go-out and smoke a buddy on his quad!
if it is the true deffinition of show room/mint, then i would say you paid exactly what its worth!! Pics would help us judge the "true" condition!!lol!! I hope you enjoy it, cause thats all that really matters!
MY FEEDBACK THREAD- http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...ight=aldochina
Here in Louisiana and I would assume Mississippi to be the same, everyone mud rides and with our weather, we ride year round, and add the humidity to that and there are very few trikes left to chose from. I drove and hour to give $1,800 for my 86 350X with miaer plastics and it needed some work. It is also the only one I have ever seen in person and I have been triking for over 25 years. I had to give $2,500 for my 86R and it is not perfect.

Seems like it'd be cheaper to buy one for $1300 and spend $400 to ship it or drive to get it.
