Just bought a 3 wheeler need some help!! thanks

hey i just bought a 1984 yamaha 3 wheeler.. its in decent shape and i want to start fixing it but the thing is i dont know the exact model and cant find the vin anywhere?? i called yamaha and they said the vin for the 1984 should be near the left foot rest but theres nothing there? i need the vin so i can find the repair manual.. the only code i found was 29-u0223? any help would be great and ill post up some pictures as soon as i can thanks..

look on the neck of the frame. there should be a sticker there.

You're missing some digits.

My guess 29U-000101 to 060100 = 1983 YTM225DX

well the sticker says its an 1984 29-u0223 but thats it?? and near that the same thing is engraved on the metal but when i called yamaha so they can decode it they also told me i was short on digits?

There should be 9 digits.

Look for the serial number stamped on the top, right side of the engine, behind the exhaust pipe.
