Vintage motorsports new resto YT125 almost done !!

Been a while since i posted any new restorations on here i do alot of repeat bikes so thought this was an interesting one a 83 Yamaha yt125 tri moto, you dont see these restored very often. i have a customer who has a pretty extensive yamaha collection of 3 wheelers and this was his first bike he ever owned as a kid so it only seemed right to restore it for the collection. whats nice about doing the not so popular models is finding nos parts really isnt all that hard to do , I am polishing up the plastics now and have a few odds and ends to finish up on the chassis but she is pretty much done , I put it next to my brand new 85 yt125 for comparision. every nut and bolt is brought back to factory new I have a nos seat for it also that will be put on when the rear fender is mounted . I also have an 83 yt175 to do for this guy also so that will be a cool oddball bike as well, stay tuned i have an 83 KLT200 kawi green coming up that will be a really cool one to see all done this one will be for my own collection i have been collecting parts for this one for approx 8 years I have just about every part NOS should be a good one . thanks for looking Mike

Stunning as always. I would love to have one of those 350x tanks there in the back round.

The Australian version must have had a different throttle. I had one of these brand new and the throttle came straight off the bars level with the grip. You had to use the ball of your thumb or even your palm to push it on. This left your right hand hanging on to the grip with your fingertips.
