    bigger front sprocket?

So I have a 185s with a 200s motor in it. It's a blast, but I feel like the gearing is too low. I would like the gearing to be much higher. I feel like the motor could push it much faster, but it just runs out of gears. where could I find a bigger front sprocket? I'm thinking 13 or 14 tooth.

    here's the bike

well I hate to tell you but that is not a 185s, the year on that is prolly 80-82 which means it is just a 185, but it does look like a 81 200 stock, the 185s had front suspension, anyways back to your question, your local bike shop should carry a larger front sprocket, plus the 185 motor has a lil more hp on the bottom end than the 200, also a higher ratio piston, so it might just be that you're feeling the dread weaker bottom end of the rpm range. check the neck for the yearing of the frame, and run the vin of the motor to double check the year before you go to a dealer so you get exactly what you need remember if you change the front sprocket you might need to get a bigger chain as well.

    That's a 1980 185, with a 84 200s tank, seat and headlight bucket (assuming the last two).

You said it had a 185 engine here.

Post the serial number off the engine (below the shifter), if you believe it's not original.
