    Yamaha Tri Moto 175

So i bought a tri moto for my son. But cant find a free PDF manual any one have one they are willing to e-mail me? I dont know what type of oil to put in the crank case?

Also after reading some other things on this site im not sure what I have is a 175
the front plate tells me its a 1985 and the plastic tells me its a 175 so not sure if some one changed the plastics. Seem to be having an issue getting it to stay idling I have to play with the throttle just to keep it running any suggestions on what this problem might be?

Thanks for any and all help

no way to tell what you have without detailed pics. it should say somewhere on the clylinder what size it is. it will say_ _ _ cm. I run honda racing gear oil in my 2 strokes.

    http://www.oscarmayer.net/atc/manual...oto_manual.pdf 175 manual

There is a 125 and a 175, they look nearly identical. You can turn a 125 into a 175. The 175 has front suspension, 125 did not(can make 175 work)

    If your cylinder head has 6 bolts, then it's a 175, if its 4, then a 125.

I've done tons of modifications to these engines, all home brew custom parts/work. A few threads on them if you want some more power out of these. They have a TON of potential.
