Are you using a splittler or steering wheel puller? They should not have to be forced apart in any way, and should evenly ease open as you put pressure on the puller. Double and tripple check that you havent forgot a bolt. Look all over, and be damn sure man. --- Jon.

Humm, That explains. I need a puller hu? Any pics of how said puller woud go? I assume on the crank?

All of my hondas come right apart with a little tapping anf finesse. This motor went through a flood so I thought it was stuck...

All manuals CALL for case splitters, never in 25 years have I seen or used them. Apply a LITTLE heat where your dowels are, soak them with a good catalyst,,they'll split. Just obviously take your time and be careful! they'll come apart!
Please help those who cannot help themselves.

ALWAYS buying Museum quality machines,3 and 4 wheels. And any and ALL ,NOS parts,EVERY brand.

I am turning my PM's Off,my Email is billsracing@hotmail.com,put 3WW in the subject. Thanx!

I use a crank pulley kit for cars. You can buy one at Harbor freight cheap, or rent one from Auto zone.
here is what they look like.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/46pc-Harmoni...0265d6&vxp=mtr

Use 2 long 10mm bolts on the flywheel side behind the flyhweel threaded in the case,(you may have to get 2 long bolts at the hardware store, cuz that kit dont have em long enough to reach the case) and use the center forcing screw with a hand wrench and just make sure you help the rear of the case stay even by the sprocket as you twist the forcing screw.
Even if you buy or rent that kit, you will have less than 20 bucks into it.

Sorry I didnt get back to you yesterday. The forum would not let my IP on at work, so I couldnt answer your PM.

The motion pro puller kits are stupid expensive to buy so I use these kits.

Here is a vid of how to do it..This guy is a little crude..LOL but you get the general idea. Just make sure you have that sleeve out of the sprocket shaft before you split the case (That is why the rear has holding him up)..AND ALL BOLTS..hahah

Ahh yes I have one of those... Hopefully I can find some bolts. I think that this thing neing in flood water is what's making it so damn hard. Hope to get it apart today, and verify some more internal crank issues.

    Thanks guys!

TriZ doesnt use a center gasket, but does use a hard drying sealer, so your cases are basically glued together. I've always been able to tap them apart with a , and a screwdriver resting against overlaping or overhanging surfaces, and some gentle prying between non-sealing surfaces, but if that doesn't do it, use propane and heat of the gasket sealer to soften it. That puller looks like a neat easy trick, if I have one lying around. You auto techs have all the neat tools!

I will never go back to the s or screw drivers. I had a low hours 250r bottom end that had never been cracked, Didnt want to mess the min left case up so i bought one of these off ebay. Best 60 bucks i ever spent and works like a charm! If you plan on doing your own engine work Look into it, It will pay for itself after the 1st bottom end you split

WOW!! That guy has to be the typical clown that thinks he's doing well. He finds his mistakes yet never relieves any puller pressure~, this guy is horrible!!!!

I like the double rubber mallet technique at 6:50! Crank and tranny were all binding and he kept applying pressure. hahah
