i was wondering on the valve cover does that get silicone on it or does it just sits metal to metal and if it gets silicone on the back of the camshaft that little hole it does not get plugged right?

go to a honda shop and for 7$ you can get some honda bond, it is about the same price as buying silicone at a parts store, but is the same compound honda originally used . If you went metal to metal it will leak, all it needs is a light layer of it.

im not worried bout what kind of silicone, im just asking about the hole back of cam shaft i just melted the cam shaft because of no oil getting up there i guessing and now i got a new head and cam shaft and i don't fell like having it burn up again, cause i found out my old cam was a web cam and that got me a little pissed and now i bought a 200x cam so im gonna be losing some power which is upsetting

There should be a rubber plug in the hole on the mating surface of the cylinder head. Without that plug the oil won't travel it's intended path.

Don't overdo the sealant, you want to make sure it doesn't get in the camshaft bearing surfaces, bushing or oil passages.

    Manual, check page 6-15.

ok thanks that's what i wanted to know. i think my friend might have put a little to much when he put it back together after i bored the motor and it wasn't letting the oil it should have been cause i put maybe 10-15 hrs on the rebuild. lucky it lasted for the last like mile and half to my house cause once i hit the driveway it quit and i could not pull it over.
