Part Interchange sticky

I am proposing that we start either a sticky, or some sort of list with interchangeable parts and part numbers for our 3 wheelers, whether it be for discontinued parts, or just cheaper parts that work.

Such as:

On the 350X Honda has discontinued the idle adjustment cable, but the one from a 300EX not only works it looks identical as well part # 16028-HM3-L00 list price $11.20. Before it was discontinued the original # was 16028-HA5-004 List price $39.07

Or on the split rims Honda # O-RING (126.5X3.5) 91351-937-000 List Price $13.65 Fastenal Part # 66877 is the exact same O-ring and sells for $5.52 and that is for 10 O-rings, not one. Yes $0.55 a piece.

These are just 2 examples that I have found, I'm sure there are many more out there.

this was brought up not to long ago that i had seen and i posted a new thread saying that something like this should be done. to see what part can interchange with what atc's stuff like that. i am fairly new to this site and i thought that was a great idea. cause some one posted it and i seen it and posted up a new thread and gave the credit to the guy who wrote it cause it wasnt my idea. but like some one else said in my thread if it keeps getting brought up enough some one would hopefuly make it a sticky. it would be alot easier to go to one thing and look then searching all over the place..
