    K10 ATC 250R Builds X3 (1) OE '86, (1) OE '85 & a rider

Here's a look at three ATC 250Rs I'm doing kind of simultaneously. I'm focusing on getting the OE '86 build done first and as perfect as possible. It will get the most NOS attention. The other two are '85 builds. One '85 will be an OE, and the other will be a "rider" and have a few '86 mix matched pieces. The rider will also have some of the left over aftermarket stuff I have. I'm thinking it will make a good test bed for different cylinder and pipe comparisons. That is if, and when I ever get to riding it.
As always I'll just post a slew of pictures. These three, along with the two TRX 250Rs seen in the background, will be about it for me. My wife and bank say so.... That said, I'm ganna drag the fun out. These will take a while for sure.

Here's some of the NOS items on the '86. I wish I had taken pictures of all of this NOS stuff before it came out of the wrappers over the years, but it never really occurred to me to document each piece. Here's just a few. The puke jug has the wrong part # tag, just so I don't get flamed and the paper wrapped thingy is an air box lid.

Other NOS parts and take off pieces (installed so far) on the '86 include the engine, swingarm, skid plates, rear shock, carb to airbox snorkel tube, and band clamps. The other two '85 builds will be real nice resto jobs too, just not as many zero hour pieces. This '86 will help fill the crated R void.

Awesome as always Andy. I guess this answers my question about the brake lever and shifter. Man how I would like to have that overflow bottle.
