Glad to be a part of your forum.
I am beginning a new project....a Yamaha YTM 225 DX Tri-Motor.
Last it ran was in 2006 during the winter (ice fishing machine).
It's basically sat inside until now and the other day I dug it out and put a little fresh gas in her and she popped and ran once for about ten to fifteen seconds. You know, ya just gotta try pullin that cord to see, right?
Well, It's going to get a freshening up from the fuel tank down thru the carb and go from there.
First thing I'd like to find is a petcock to replace the original rotted one I removed today.

Is there a source for NOS or does anyone have a petcock they want to sell?

Please let me know.

Looking forward to hearing the motor hum again.

Welcome to the board! There are lots of websites to order from, one is actually over in Kalamazoo and has good prices. If you are ever going to drive over there for any reason, you can order on-line and select local pickup. So it is kinda the best of both worlds: cheap internet prices, and no outrageous shipping charges (although if you're driving special, you'll spend more in gas).
