    Manual CLutch on a 1978 ATC 110?

I just picked up a super cool 1978 ATC 110 (did they make the 110 in 78?) that has a manual clutch?? Was this an aftermarket mod or something that was offered from the factory? Never seen it before.

nope they didn't have the 110 in 78, the 110 would be a replacement i'd say on a 90 frame. very least it could be just a 110 head on there? as for the manual clutch i would imagine it'd be what i'd call a period correct mod for a racer. side cover and stuff would've came off a bike (sorry can't remember what bikes were used for doing that though).

posting up some pics would really help find out what you might have there.

I was also going to say SL90 parts. I've actually had my eye out for an SL90 for a long time, haven't even seen one. Sounds like a cool 3-wheeler you have. Does it still have the high / low range gear box?

Sounds pretty cool, I would like to see it. Btw, 79 was the first year of the 110

OK, here are some pics. I found this in Santee, CA, which was the hotbed of all sorts of aftermarket ATC parts manufacturers back in 'the day'. Really a nice little trike, however as usual, the dude that sold it to me really did not know a whole lot about it. I plan to use a lot of the parts and motor on my Pauter Machine PJ1 build that I plan to be an Ace Williams tribute bike, seeing as there is a good chance he may have built the frame. I really am not sure what this motor is, the dude said it was a stock 110, but it has allen bolts all over the motor, so who knows. Note the manual clutch, which I would guess would be the SL 90 conversion (fantastic surprise!!). Other than that, it has a really nice header and what looks to be a custom pipe, and cool old school seat, fresh paint all around, anything else cool I am missing?? I have a BAPP intake and larger carb that came on another bike that I am going to use, however I am going to have this motor rebuilt from the ground up by BDT in Rancho Cucamonga, so it may be a while. At that time I will have them figure out if it is stock or not.
