I could only see the first few minutes on the web for some reason. But the weird original tank color compared to the fenders got me thinking. Check out the pics of the US90 colors on the model box. It appears that a fifth 'gold' type paint was available? I realize they are only illustrations; I'm probably way off here

Oh, I know it was more of a joke. But if there is one person out there that I would have the confidence in being able to pull it off, it would be John.

brutal!! for that money, it looks like garbage!! cool to see it though!! bet that tire is flat when the guy pulls it off the truck at home!! I could see a 1000.00 for a nos tire, but for a dry cracked one with a 1.5 inch gash/flap that wont be worth a crap very long!! do like the show, i was just as excited about the gun!! pretty amazing!

Remember, its not a "$1,000 tire".. It's a $500 tire that held air they requested so they could mark it up and sell it to the customer for
    $1,000...

Makes me feel sooooo much better about the 2500 I'm spending on my uncle's 200e....and the tires won't have cracks in it.
EDIT...I'm not buying it, I'm restoring it for him...

i don't think that would be the best idea. first, they have people coming in paying them to do the work, it's not like they pick and choose what project to work on. second, more stuff like this episode and i could see prices climbing faster and higher than they already are. i keep pictureing people who don't care about anything other than making as much as they can off people expecting to get over top dollar for some parts they wouldn't of even thought twice about before.

maybe it's just me, but that's the way i feel.

I've had friends pull up on Craigslist complete atc's for $200 with nice tires... Umm.. excuse me.. we're talking US90 FRONT balloon tires... not tires on an atc110.. REAR us90 tires are more common.. On a side note .. it called business.. people are in business to make money... not go broke.. although some folks go into business and go broke..

    this horse is now dead..

No problem. I love seeing both of you working together and sharing in the same hobby. Think of how much better this country would be if more married couples shared the same passions for one hobby, no matter what it may be. Keep up the great work both of you. I was serious when I said if any home hobbyist would be able to pull off a repop of those tires it would be both of you.
