    Swap Question

I have an 85 250es Big Red that the front forks are frozen shut and I want to upgrade to something better. The riding I do is mainly trail with the occasional trip to the mudhole. What I want to know is what model should I swap to and what would be the best year? I know that steering stops have to be made Im not worried about that, I just want to know what would be the right fork swap for my conditions.

Easy & cheap enough to rebuild your forks..get the kit from Ebay and a copy of the manual from the site.

It's a utility trike..swap to say a 350x front end would be a weird combination in my opinion. But then people have done stranger things.

I ran a 200X front end on my 250ES for years. I loved it. it will bolt right on, but you have to build your own - DIFFERENT steering stops. I had a plastic tank and had no steering stops, and the turning radius was MINT!
RIP - Yamahondaman!! You will never be forgotten!
RIP - Sam Brehm!! Gone but NEVER forgotten!
RIP - Sandpuppi101 - You will live on in my mind - I miss you friend!

Do you have pic of that? I'm used to seeing a 25 inch tire on the front of a 250ES, I can't really picture anything else on there!
