    head bolt headache

I have a 250r and the head bolts are pulling out of the cylinder when torqued. I have already helicoiled the holes but it looks like the top of the holes are stripped and the head bolt isn't running down far enough to bite. Is there any head bolt I can get that is the same size but longer on the shank. My head gasket won't seal and water is spraying out when running. Shoot me some ideas.

Yes its an 85. The length of the threads that go into the cylinder are too short. Maybe some out of a cr 125 will work or something like that.

you can get stepped studs, 10mm to 8 mm. if your cylinder threads are to far gone. never had a helicoil hold on a head stud.
