Are you going to wait until your current bearings wear out to replace them? There's no real need to replace them yet if you don't have any play in them.

If it's sliding back and forth a bearing replacement isn't the cure.

It's very possible a previous owner has installed a different axle that is wider. Without seeing it in person or a video of what it's doing I am at a loss.

^^^^What Howdy mentioned above is very feasible. Mine did the same thing except I had the wrong housing with the right axle on a 200e. Here's a link to thread. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...get-it-to-stop!. explains my dilemma and findings. It was my own doing due to lack of knowledge. I know now and willing to share my experience to help anyone else with the same woes. There is a pic of the difference between housing in the thread. About an 1 1/2" difference in length on the sprocket side of the housing so I would assume there would be the same difference in contact points on the axle. You could very well have a 82/83 200/200e axle. The housings and axles will interchange as far as mounting but you end of with slop when combining the 2. Good luck!

A couple pieces of advice. Learn to spell. Get a manual if you can figure out what trike you have. Take some time and do some maintenance to your trike. How hard is it to figure a cable operated brake system and what to possibly do to fix it???

Add: If that was YOU in the photo pushing the trike out that YOUR Mom got stuck, shame on you! Make her push it out, its the only way she'll learn!
