Yep, somebody hacked on it. I hate it when people do that. Splice as required but soldering extensions is preferred.
There should be 3 tabs on the headlight. White is low beam, blue is high beam and green is ground.
Think I could run with just high beam? Do I really need my ground? Its the wire that can't reach.
Also, I understand these are fake HIDs, but are they brighter than standard? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-ATC250...ht_1573wt_1163
Also, Is this a scam? Or is it viable to put on my 250r? http://www.ebay.com/itm/EFX-SLIM-AC-...ht_9484wt_1163
Man,you would be better of just getting new uncut harness
An F-16 turned the after burners on and banked HARD over my house, I ran outside grabbed my Bud Light and Yelled as loud as I could................

New 10 inch wheel buy http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...12#post1258412
Go to NAPA..Buy a headlight connector for a 91 chevy S-10 and wire it in to your harness using solder. They are 3 prong and fit the OEM bulbs on the R..I have used them a few times. they cost like 6 bucks..
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

Yes you need ground or the lights will not work but you can run either high or low beams. The bulb doesnt care where the power comes from. The connector Mosh mentioned is an H4 connector. Adding wire to the harness isn't a big deal. You can butt splice or solder the wire extensions.
As for the Xenon lights, better light over stock. I bought a 10 pack of those and put them on both Rs, all three SXs and put them in my wifes SUV. Its a brighter light in the blue range. Cheap way to brighten them up
I put a similar bluish bulb on my '85 250R years back. I didnt use the light all that much & it melted the plastic conn. at the white wire soon after (never used high). Eventually it had a bad/faulty connection........ I also put similar bulbs on 2 of my trucks & developed exact same issues. I replaced the conn. with a NEW one & same thing happen in a month or 2. I had to just elimnate/cut off the plastic conn.-(3 seperate wires) & put my own NEW terminals with heatshrink on the ends & never had an issue with the melting or bad conn. again?- I'd be cautious using high. Just my experience.......
It does look cool even with the light off. lol

The bubs I bought are 60/55 Xenon bulbs. Those should not draw enough amps to heat up those stock connectors to cause them to melt like that.
