    i just changed the swingarm bearings......hmmmmmm im not sure ill put it on the jack tomarrow and see....but im pretty sure its carier...bc mine is all beat up,,,,,but if i put new bearings in it,,shouldnt it be fine?

    If the carrier itself is worn to the point there is slop between the outer race of the new axle bearings and the inside bore of the carrier then a new carrier is in order. Sometimes people will keep on riding on a bad set of axle bearings, and then at some point the bearings will grenade and the sprocket and/or brake rotor hub will make contact with the carrier housing ruining the carrier. I have seen it more times than I care to count.

    Find out exactly where the slop is and go from there..

    I used a piece of PVC pipe I just happened to have laying around that happened to be the perfect size.

    It needs to slide over the fork and contact the seal without dragging in the lower fork housing.

    I use a shorty lever with no issues, to some people my lever pulls pretty hard.
