Hey guys, a friend of mine picked this up last week, its been sat under a hedge for the last 15 years



it looks mostly all there, just a couple of bits missing- under the bit between the seat and the handlebars (the gas tank on most bikes) theres a 5-pin plug, im assuming its for a CDI box? as I cant see one anywhere else. I sense these are troublesome on these from what I read online? possibly why the bloke had abandoned it. Where can I get one from as they seem few & far between... are they common with any other bikes/quads?
the exhaust is also missing but we'll fabricate something up once we've got it to start.
any other 'need to know/useful' info on these? thanks, Ryan

Ok so we're a little stuck CDI wise. without sounding too much like a redneck, is there any reason that I couldn't use a CDI from some other 4 stroke engine, obviously wiring it up using diagrams etc... Im pretty sure i could do it, any reason not to?
