man i cant believe how good these cleaned up!! most of what i thought were scuffs from bangin around turned out to be tape adhesive residue, must have been taped together with some shipping tape for awhile. honestly very few flaws considering they have been unprotected all these yrs!! cost the poor dude 20 to ship them, made a measly 60 bucks off the sale! they were really packaged very well also, probably took the guy half hr to pack em up!! I felt a little bad lol!!
I tell ya, anything that has the words earth freindly, or bio degradable isnt worth a crap if you didnt already know. I used this krud cutter adhesive remover we had on the shelf, and it wouldnt touch it after several apps. wasnt so much worried about the metal, but the boots had the adhesive on them too, and didnt want to use anything harsh! after wasting a half hr i grabbed the good stuff in the aresol can, not sure if it was goo gone, or oops, the stuff with all the nice VOC's in it lol. one very quick light app, and it was gone. sprayed a bit on a towel, and hit the spots on the boots with no problems. low voc stuff is not worth a crap!!
