picked this up about a month ago!! Great story about its aquisition too! here's the short version-
on my way to the Adirondacks for a weekend of r+r, Stop in scum mart in Glens falls to get a fishing lisence! while waiting for a clerk i am brousing some line and tackle, got the 3ww hat on backward! Guy says behind me "so your into the 3 wheelers huh?" I said yes, i kind of collect them! He proceeds to tell me he works for some dealership up that way, some old farmer brought in his bigred and wanted this guy to get rid of it for him. he says its mint, and he only lives a few miles from the store if i wanted to check it out. I was already behind schedule, and know what most people's idea of mint is!! The fever got the best of me and i said what the hell. I follow this dude to his house, he has the perfect yard for selling, had about a half dozen machines out front, he said guys are always asking him to sell their stuff in his yard! The bigred WAS indeed mint, and he said they went right through it at the dealer, it is ready to go! I gave 1000 bucks for it, 2 hundred less than the asking price! Now i was pulling my boat, and the truck was full of kayaks and gear so i gave him 5 hundred and took the key, stopped on my way back through and picked it up!
Guy said he had it listed on the plattsburg/adirondack craigslist because someone told him there was a collector in that area that would probably buy it, first though was Tatool23!!
only thing missing is the fender trim! came with a nice set of v groove tire chains, and all the paperwork!!
not quite as nice as my other, but very close!!
