these tanks are said to use tecate caps? I'm lookin to up grade to something in aluminum! what caps fit a tecate? haven't really looked into it.. just thinkin about it now i got the tank back.

Jon a buddy of mine.. actually drilled a hole in it .. and popped it that way and welded the hole back up.. Also does yours have that bead of epoxy around the neck? I chipped mine off ..and the threds are tacked in the top (inside) .. not sure if its welded all the way around... guess ill put water in it and see. After greg polishes it I was gonna put a bead of Right Stuff around it.

No mine has a full bead of weld around the top. Someone got tired of it leaking and who ever done it wasnt the person that built the tank.......
