My daughter and I will be going to watch the Blues scrimmage tonight and this will be her first live NHL action. Its pretty special to see how excited she is to go and watch them. I remember my grandpa pulling me out of school and going to watch the Blue's training camp back in the 80's. He had season tickets for the first 15 or so years and knew all the players and coaches. We would walk in and it was like a family reunion for him. Bobby Plager would sit there and talk to him like a long lost brother. It was pretty amazing as a 7-8 year old kid watching Grandpa schmooze with former Blue's greats.

This is a pretty special night that I will remember the rest of my life and I hope she can tell her kids about it one day.

The Leafs beat the Habs Last night 2-1 by the skin of their teeth. I hope they get back into the swing of things and improve.

The Blues took The Detoilet Redwings out back behind the woodshed and gave them a good ole fashion as$ whoopin. I haven't been able to say that since the 80's.

And the Jets got a beating from the Sens which meant that the biggest Sens fan in Mexico came to my house today to drink my beer and gloat.

What are the chances of the only two hockey fans in Mexico living close to each other?

Haha! Actually, you could have said “What are the odds that the ONLY Sens fan and the ONLY Jets fan in all of Mexico live within a few miles of each other?”. In other coincidental news we both ride dirt and street bikes as well. Needless to say this guy is my best friend down here.

FYI: There are quite a few Mexican NHL hockey fans in Mexico, they just don’t cheer for the Sens or the Jets. Sky sells a lot of NHL Season Pass packages and we’ve had the 600 seat rink fill out a few times for Junior games. We've even had a couple scouts come down from Dallas to see some of the kids play.

Just seven more days till the fly sh*t is separated from the pepper and the race to Lord Stanley's cup begins! The Jets might not make it in, but I'll actually be able to cheer for the Leafs this year.

Anyone want to bet against Chicago ending up on top?

$10.00 bucks even money ok? Hawks win, I win, Hawks don’t, you do. We can do a virtual handshake and send it by paypay or use a Brinks truck. Or would this constitute online gambling and get the 3WW site in trouble? Awe heck, we already Have Fabio and Raffa throwing $100 bills at each other so I’m sure this is fine. The bigger problem here is that by doing this I will curse the Hawks (My horses don’t just lose, they usually have to be put down on the track). Say yes and it’s on!
