    Read the ad guys.

This is a collector condition 1986 Honda ATC250R 3 wheeler in "Mint Collecting condition". This Trike will come with Original Honda handlebar hang tag, original owners manual, title, honda paperwork, brochure, and service manual that came with this trike off the show room floor. These are truly getting harder and harder to come by and will only go up in value. please see all pictures and let me know if you need me to take more. thanks and happy bidding

There is no referance to it being original/unrestored. The seller has worded it very well. Also if you care to look in his profile, you can see he has bought a lot of parts through ebay that one would use to restore an 86 250R.

IMO, the trike is lovely and its worth every cent that the buyer is willing to spend to get it. If it wasnt, someone else would have got it.

I agree and I wasn't trying to pick it apart. Gas Gas was curious as to what we seen as indicators of a restore so I pointed out the first few things that jumped out at me. I also think he has worded it as to not give the impression that it was 100% original and if someone willing to pay this much for a bike doesn't know the difference then its their fault for not doing their due diligence and have no one to blame but themselves.

I have spoke with the seller and he never mentioned that it was 100% original. A lot of speculation can be avoided if people would take a few seconds and ask a few questions. If you know your stuff, you'll be able to smell BS right away.

I love and hate seeing this stuff go for these crazy prices. I have a lot of NOS parts on my 250r and its great to know that it is worth more now then what I have in it. I don't think that has ever happened to me, but on the other hand it has made it impossible for the average guy to try and make his bike look as close to what it did when new and not feel guilty for riding it.
