    has anyone made extended swingarm

    Im thinking of buying a stock swingarm for my 85 tecate and have a friend cut it and add 2" to it and weld it. Whatcha think

    ive help make one where we only used the forward tubes and the carrier holder and remade the entire center section of new tubing, was a cleaner finish IMO. good luck

    Look for an 86-7 Tecate swingarm. They are aluminum and two inches longer.

    86/87 T-3 is direct bolt on

    With one exception. You will need to center the shock pivot mount.
    I done that mod and extended 4 more inch's so over all length is 6 inch over stock 84/85, made up my own skid plate and never looked back.
    I also cut a whole lot of the alu bracing out and added cleaner looking bracing.
    I don't believe I have any close up pictures but these will give you a idea as too how it will look.

    I've extended two. They're tit to do.
