This thing moves. My question is, I have no clue of the year. It. Is a 6 speed, and it is stroked to a 510. I am shortly going to yank the motor, and blast the frame. Want to do some upgrades to the motor, but how do I find out the year?

I just got it a week ago, and it does need some love, but it runs like a striped a** ape.

Was that on craigslist? I swear I saw that and on the ad it said something about you'll need to sign papers and hand over the money just to test drive it hahaha.. Anyways to find the year look for the number on the frame. Now sure how yamaha does it but Honda has the number on the neck by the triples.. like right behind the headlight. Search that area and I'm sure you'll find it. The numbers should be etched into the frame.

Goodluck, and seriously stay safe with that beast.
