I have recently acquired a 1980 Honda 110 ATC. I will need to tear down the lower unit to fix leaks and find out why it won't move. Motor runs, shifts through gears, but won't even try to spin wheels.

Check hi/lo range box on pull starter side of engine. The transmissions on these bikes almost never go bad and if you can hear it shift like you say then the problem is in the hi/lo box. Most of the time the selector lever gets stuck and wont move or some parts are wore. Check there first
