THANK YOU.. and NO lol its not easy.. at least for me. Seals are like the hardest part for me to find for whatever reason. That would be the decomp lever right? Do you happen to know the camshaft? Or are they both the same seal?

You mean the CDI base oil seal under the spark advancer right? Just double checking, its the only seal on the camshaft so im sure thats it... LOL
If you need that one to i don't recall if its the same size or not, but i think its not, smaller i believe. You can buy a complete set of oil seals for the whole motor for around $20 or less. Would be cheaper than buying two separate seals.

haha yup that'd be the one im talking about. Yea I might as well dish out 6 more bucks lol, that first one you sent me was 10 bucks alone. Thank you for the link! I already have brand new seals in the bottom end but will those seals fit my 185 bottom end? Or is the 200 and 185 bottom ends a bit different?

They should fit the 185 as well, most of the 185 and 200 parts are interchangeable and the same. The only difference between the years was gasket shapes on them. Those extra seals will come in handy somewhere. I usually just buy the kit for stuff like that nice having spares when the excrement hits the rotating mass....

The decomp lever and camshaft seals are the ones i can't get locally. The rest of them i can usually find similar ones at Napa.
Just a little tip... When you go to install them fill the back of them with grease, that will keep the spring from popping out when you tap them in. As for tapping in, use a socket that matches the outside diameter of them and drive em in straight! A little grease on the decomp lever and camshaft before sliding them through the seal is a good idea to. I did a few decomp levers that had a worn spot on them, just make sure they are clean and smooth so they don't scratch the new seal and cause a leak all over again. That sucks!! LOL

Lol wow.. well thanks for the tip Kb, do i PACK the grease in there or just a little bit, just enough to cover those springs?

I pack em full in the back, the grease won't hurt nothing, it will dissolve over time in the oil and just mix in. The added benefit also is the seal is all greasy and when you first start it before the oil gets moving it won't be moving parts on a dry seal, in the case of the camshaft seal for sure!
