will a 1980 110 coil work with a 1977 atc 90

I've spent all day with it .have voltage at generatr and even changed to points from motor that ran . Coil is good and tested . Schematics for coil are different . So I'm guessing that why still no spark . Can the hook up to the capacitor be modified to work . Hhhhheeelllpp.

Yes a 79/80 110 coil will work .

So the black/white wire wil be tied together with both blacks and points wire. Green goes to what. Yellow to yellow.???

Green is ground and the yellow is for the lights .

Thanks man. After knowing that the coil ahould work I went back at it and swapped the stator out. And BBAAAAMMMM she was off and runnin. I guess I just need conformation that the coil will work that it had to be the stator. Thanks again.

Love those rawhides and fork extensions! Looks a little like the "Fugly" project I'm just finishing http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...uot-Fugly-quot . That was also a $150 machine. Do you have a vid of it running?

I will shortly plan on a repaint . Just ebayed some axle bearings chain and brakes . And she will he hot for the trails. Ya I love the look of these old rawhides.
