I'm looking at a new truck and was leaning towards a diesel, but from what I've read I've been really impressed with the reviews the 6.2 has been getting.

I sell Fords at Joe Machens in Columbia if you need any dealer type information. We are also a large volume dealer, I can probably beat any other dealerships price.
Every customer I have sold on the 6.2 has been very satisfied. They do very well with a load. Then of course if your up to the extra expense you would not be disappointed by the 6.7.

Huh, no kidding. My old police department bought all of our patrol cars from you guys. Bommarito Ford has three new 2012 F250 FX4's CC, for like 33k. It scares me that these are left over, but I've read way more good than bad about these engines. I pull a 6000lb Travel Trailer with my 2010 F-150 5.4 and not only does it not have the power I would like, it gets 7mpg doing it. Guys are claiming 16mpg highway and 10mpg towing 10k lb fifth wheel campers with the 6.2 and plenty of power.
I would love the 6.7, but the cost difference is hard to justify when the 6.2 is getting the numbers these guys are claiming.

Wow, we barely had any 12's going in to 13 lol. Like I say though, we sell 6-800 a month just out of Ford here (Joe Machens has 15 brands, 10 locations).
Holy Crap, I just printed off an invoice, and did a little research on the advertised prices they have. As much as it pains me to say it, you need to go buy one of those trucks!
They are giving up all the money, and then some. That is a great deal. I have no idea why, or how those have not been bought yet at that price.

I know I can't find a used one for that price, not to mention full factory warranty.

I'm also considering an F-150 with the Ecoboost. Reading about these, the guys who have them love em and the diesel guys hate them. Mileage claims are all over the board with these also. I would love to hear from someone that has one.

I ended up renting an F150 6cyl with eco-boost on my way out to TF this year when my 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 starting loosing power over the PA mtns. (Turned out to be a clogged mass air flow censor). Anyway, not sure how they handle a heavier load but it pulled my 6' X 10' enclosed trailer with a BR, KLT, BW200, 70, and a bunch of "parts' plus camping gear without a problem. A little weak on the initial "pull out" till the turbo spooled up but after that I felt it actually pulled better than my GMC. Averaged about 13 mpg through out the trip. All of it towing probably about 800 mi from the time I picked it up until I dropped it back off on the return trip. Again I wasn't towing 10,000 lbs but I hardly noticed my trailer was even there once it got going. I was impressed.
