What would you think if ATC's went back into production?

Man, those are some very nice 'homemade' 3 wheelers. But for the most part I only see race style trikes. Anyone know if, or have pictures of, home-built utility trikes?

Im easily under 2g Total for my 04 Tionesta Trikes 450r, with some horse trading, and having some awesome friends. There are a few people around here that will help you. Its the only way its going to get it done.

Now that is something i would like to see, but no. I have not heard or seen of any being built. A few ideas thrown around since i have been here though, such as a rear independent suspension on a big red.

We all know it will probably never happen but I would buy a new one in a heartbeat but only if they still had the same look. I would buy a new 4 wheeler today if they would build a new TRX250R with the same styling as the 86-87 88-89, engine, fenders and all. In my opinion the 250R would out sell all the sport model ATV's they have today, not to mention the engine and other parts would benefit all of the ATC250R enthusiasts. Just like the automotive industry, where they built the new Camaro and the Shelby mustang . I believe Honda would greatly benefit by using the iconic designs from the 1986-89 TRX250R, 200X/350XATC250R and built a brand new ATV. They wonder why they have 450Rs sitting on the showroom floors from 2009,lol. As for the ATC's, if they went back into production ,that would be a wish come true and I would be first in line to buy one. Also be the first to buy a TRX!

Please don't anyone take this the wrong way. But I really don't see the Japanese culture as into retro and nostalgia as much as the American culture. And I mean this completely demographically. Their culture is just different. Do you think their parents/grandparents were doing the same things ours were in the 1950's with hotrods and whatnot?? Just as one example. I think they for the most part are much more forward minded. Always looking to design the next major improvement and/or groundbreaking technological wonder...I just cannot envision any major Japanese corporation taking the "bet" there will be a significant market to sell nostalgic/retro/old-school-cool the way the domestic auto makers have...

Just another angle I see....

I got my TPC last week! $10,501.00 I had to work on it a little bit to get it to run, but I like it so far. It's fast as heck. I'm gonna hire some pro riders to win me some trophies on it.

That is great! It reminds me of a lawnmower I slightly modified to mud bog.... sadly donut spare tires don't do very well in mud .

It'd be awesome if they did but then again.. I could care less. When I see a quad on the side of the road I think to myself.. wow thats nice and then forget about it.. when I see a 3 wheeler I stare.. the entire time lol.. Basically I love the fact that there rare.. people stare at my wheeler and its not even that nice which is an awesome feeling! Knowing there's only so many left makes me cherish mine.. if they started making them i'd probably just start abusing the thing because there'd be endless parts.

I'd buy a new one. I'd also jump on a retro 1988 TRX250R redo. I sold mine back int he 90s and regret it to this day.
