    got my 250R frame back from powder coating today

    85 frame...



    this is the 86


    this frame is not the same color as the 85 it turned out more orange but oh well its new and clean!

    They both look great. Having both years in front of you, isn't crazy how different both machines really are? I never realized it until I owned an '85 and found out that there really isn't all that much that is identical.

    ya they are! This is my first 86 3 wheeler ever.... Cant wait to get it running!!

    I do my own powdercoating. Re did an 86 350x over the summer. Every piece on it was powdercoated. Looked better than it did when it came from the factory. Even powdercoated the gas tank. Ended up selling it for 1700 bucks then it was on ebay shortly after for a buy it now of 4000. I stoll turned a 600 dollar profit off of it though. Bought an 85 250r the same weekend and im restoring that this winter
