83 200x motor into an 83 200s wiring question.

Hi there, Im currently in the process of finishing up a 83 200x motor into an 83 200s & im a little lost with the wire harness clip that holds the yellow & green wires. My 200s has 2 wires, a yellow & a green wire from the stator & the 83 200x only has a yellow wire so now how should hook the green wire? To a common ground or if anyone could shed some light on this issue would be greatly appreciated?
