1984 Yamaha 225DX front fender replacement question

I am fixing up my old Yamaha 225 DX and it needs a new FRONT fender (cracked the old one apart). I can't seem to find one for it in blue like I need but found one for an 84 Yamaha 200L and it looks the same in the pictures. No one can seem to tell me if it will work on the 225 though. Does anyone know if its interchangeable or if this part is shaped differently/smaller and might not work?

blue seems to be rare. ive been wondering the same thing, the entire 200 front end looks similar, this fender looks identical but I cant say it will fit http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-YTM-2...a05468&vxp=mtr

hopefully someone else will chime in. I would put 20$ down saying that its the same

Yea thanks, that's what I think. It looks identical but no one can tell me for sure. Hope others will reply. I'm just not sure if it will mount on the same.

The fender in that ebay link is for a 225, not a 200.

I think they mount differently.. be sure and check the screw holes locations. Im not sure if its the 200 or 175 (?) 125(?) that has a different mount. that's not to say drilling the four holes to mount to a 225 wont work though... lol

the 200 will mount up to a 225, it is just a slightly different shape than the normal 225 shape more curved.
