Not only is the chance to see a NOS Christmas special tank for sale shocking enough, that price is enough to make anyone's jaw drop. Now what would be even more shocking is if it got a bid.

It makes me wonder what else is floating around out there.

What is a whole nice Christmas 70 worth? Must be a lot if just the tank is worth $1000

From what I seen not that much more than a decent condition 70. But that tank is NOS special edition. Overpriced IMO.

I would have to agree with you... probably the only BID in existance for this particular item. And it was likely made by the seller or one of his cronies.

But, I mean it could be done... Maybe not powder coat but a super high quality paint, like a HVLP then clear coat

i think its an ok price! To some people thats like a 100 bucks, you guys have all seen these restoration shows! I mean 1200 for a dryrotted front US90 tire that barely holds air(american restoration) just gotta find the right buyer. they are out there.

HVLP is not a high quality paint. It stands for High Volume Low Pressure and is the latest generation spray gun designed to be more efficient than the old siphon feed spray guns.
