Blue27 doesn't know it yet (probably figures though) but he will be making up some 'custom" decals. Trike will not be an original restore so might as well make it unique. I need to get busy though, your way ahead of me! I'm still unsure on the direction with the head light. You can get a repop 86R shroud from ZMP for $64 shipped through ebay. May be able to do better with the purchase of the fenders. If not I will probably go with a stock light with the vinyl wrap.

Well at least you tried for the headlight bezel. Mine is painted, but in otherwise perfect condition.
A little bit of red will be fine. I have the guard over mine should it should be safe and last awhile.
Let's see what you cook up for Blue27, I know I'll need new decals after I get the tank powder coated
white. I was thinking some big 250R decals on the fenders like the 86 TRX250R.

Talked to the Jeff on the phone from ZMPerformance today. Trying to finalize details for this buy. He informed me that Maier has raised their prices approx 6% to them. This translates into $11 dollars more so the price will be $261 per set. He said he will check with Maier and see what timing would be to get these run. I sent him an e-mail with all the specifics that I have so far and he is to get back with me. Just hoping this all comes to pass and Maier don't come back with some excuse not to run them. We are getting closer!

Just got an email reply from Jeff at ZMPerformance. It's a go!! Maier will make them! He said it will be a couple of week delay after we order for them to change over and actually make them.
Last call for anyone that still wants in. If I buy a second set to complete the order (which I'm planning on right now) they will go into hibernation for a long while and not be for sale. So if ya want a set better get in now.

I think I'm going with the Orange Red frame to match my cylinder head I just had powdered this year and the handlebars I bought. Getting the Red Hi FLite Desert Seat.
Probably going to do the tank in White....but I'll have to get another head light plastic or just paint the one I got. Not sure. Got a line on some polished forks too so
that will look good.

I've been working on my spare tank. Its gonna be smooth as glass after I'm done. I'm planning on a custom 300r red seat, red fork boots and a white number plate. I also have a spare front end I may powdercoat. Can't wait to see those plastics!!
