'85 Honda ATC 250R rear end rocking side to side..??

Specimen: 1985 Honda ATC 250R. Something inside the swing arm rear carrier has got to be cracked or/ busted. I can rock my trike back in forth while it's sitting still right in that area inside there. I've done this before where I've taken everything off but I get stumped when it comes to the very end after you remove the axle from inside the carrier. What's the secret to getting that thing out of there? The manual shows a special tool to use with a . Does anybody have a secret to this?!??

Let me see 1985 - 2014 = 29 years old or since the pivot bolt was installed ! You Might want to service/replace . But you might want to check the pivot bolt bearings. Just Saying!

The pivot bolt and assembly was the first thing I checked because I was thinking it was loose or damaged from age and use. Ironically it's in excellent shape. I bet those bearings are shot inside that carrier. Thanks for the heads up on the threads on knocking that assembly loose. This will definitely be a weekend project!!
