Sad day - Sold my NOS ATC250R rear fender ...

Well I posted my NOS ATC250R fender on the bay.
Listed them at mid night, sold at 8am and paid for.

It has hit me I no longer own these beautiful fenders
Sad day, packing and gettin them ready to ship out.

I hope they go on a restoration project.

Back in 2003 I bought all new plastics for my R. Front, rear, headlight shell...

I wish I had stocked up. Sad those days are gone.

I feel you, I sold all my NOS fenders also. Wonder if they still have the molds for these fenders? They were discontinued once and HONDA made another run around 2001 or later because of demand or something like that. Wish we could convince or contact the right person to make at least some of the ATC plastics, prob never happen.

I sold my nos front and rear to Mr. Clean and haven't looked back since. Unless you're a hoarder or restorer, who cares. I've beat the snot out of my bike since it's resurrection and I couldn't be happier with my maier plastic.

I was nos drunk once upon a time and it almost caused me to give up on the entire hobby for good. All I could think about was scoring that nos part and trying my hand at a completely useless garage queen oem restoration. Once I realized my pockets didn't go deep enough to compete with the hoarders and I actually wanted to ride my bike, my trike life became enjoyable again.

Now I need a TPC so I can drive to the local Honda dealer and buy each and every damn part I want to.
