I got the frame back from the powder coaters. It turned out really nice.

I just got a set of RD350 swingarm bushings the other day for my bike. What a surprise to compare them to the whimpy ones the came out of the HI PO ATC swingarm. You would think the would be a little more beefy, seeing as they are being used offroad. The ones in the back are the RD bushings the ones in the front are the HI PO ATC.
how do you plan to fit those new bushings in the HP swinger?
The new bushings are for my RD350 bike. I'm going to have to get a new set made for the HP swinger. Any volunteers for making the new set?
I finally got my new swingarm bushings; not exactly identical but they will work. The base is too thick,
so I'm going to shave it in half or the swingarm won't fit. I didn't have a swingarm bolt; so I'm also going
to have to make my own. I decided to go with a 5/8" bolt instead of the 1/2" that came with the frame originally;
so I had to drill out the mounting holes. The bolt is a little long so it will be shortened and rethreaded. The
washers also had to be reshaped to clear the engine. I trial mounted the swingarm and shock to check for clearance
issues and it just touches the battery pan; which might have to be trimmed. I might have to make more adjustments
when I mount the chain tensioners, we'll see.
That Ohlins looks good in there. Cant wait to see the finished product.

I received my new chain tensioner wheels today. They're actually wideboard wheels, the old ones were skateboard wheels from the 1970's .They were a little too wide however; and I had to shave them down a bit. Now they fit great and also match the frame.
I bought a new rear fender off of Ebay. It's fiberglass and nice and thick.

Those fenders are a nice set. Glad to know they are going on an Old School RD Bike.![]()
