    200x Front Conversion

Hey all. I am needing help in figuring this out. I have a 200x donor trike to swap out the front forks on my 250sx. I am swapping out the entire setup, triple trees and all. I have two questions. One is the bearings on my 250sx, when I order a replacement set do I need a particular set or will a 250sx bearing set work with the 200x Triple Tree.

Also I am having issues getting the bottom piece of the triple tree off the bike...is there a trick to this?

i dont know about the bearings but the bottom should just slide out.. have you gotten the big nut off the stem? Once thats off it should just come out.

Pictures would definitely help understand the problem.

Here is the best picture I can get. The Oscar Mayer repair book, pg11-28, says I need a pin spanner...is there anything I can use instead? If not are they expensive?

    Help is appreciated
