    Very cool part. The one dcreel's Tecate had on it made a huge difference in the rough stuff.

    Looking for a Bassani silencer for a 2nd gen tecate, the style with the movable mount. 1st gen will work

    ^ 86T3 is correct. But they do make a world of difference especially on the first gen Tecate

    It is a steering damper off of the old VW beetle. Just type in VW steering damper on google and it pops up.

    Haha, totally forgot about those. My old man had dune buggys and classic vw's and I was trying to picture the suspension shocks. The second I read your post the image popped right in my head.

    I picked one up over the weekend, I'm glad I didn't drop 400.00 on it. Total cost was zero dollars. It's missing the rear bracket though.
