1982 250R and K&N?

Hello all,

I want to rid the stock air box and put a K&N Filter.

Is the RU1780 K&N Model number the correct one? If so, anyone got a pic of it mounted?

Disregard. With pro advice, decided to stay stock with my Air Box.

Just to put the info out there, I put a K&N RU1400 filter directly on my 82 250r's carb, not air box and it fits well. Looking at the google pics, the model on mine looks shorter.

My other 250r has a HUGE k&n filter inside the air box, literately takes up the whole air box. I think it was intended for a car. No clue on the model though.
