    oil filtes?

i literally need like 10 of them, as alot of my stuff runs the same filter. I have usually always run OEM, and mostly had one on hand or only needed one at the time. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the knockoffs on ebay you can get for like 3 to 4 bucks a piece?

Partszilla sells oem honda filters for under 4$. While I have never seen a 15412-hm5-a10 fail... I have seen torn pleats in the ktm and hiflows.

The oem filter is superior...and from them, competitive in price.

No bypass. They fry the top end,as do Suzukis with the same set up. MANY "1st time techs" have learned the hard way at Honda and Suzuki dealerships. Edit, I was thinking of people putting them in backwards..Not a plugged dirty one..
Please help those who cannot help themselves.

ALWAYS buying Museum quality machines,3 and 4 wheels. And any and ALL ,NOS parts,EVERY brand.

Interesting. I use at least 10 hiflo filters a week, and have never seen one damaged right out of the box. They are quality filters, no doubt about it. We use OEM when a customer wants it.

We might be surprised if we knew where all filter brands are made, OEM or not. Likely in the same building. We have a Baldwin filters plant in my hometown. Not every filter is in a baldwin box, just sayin'.

I always used OEM, but I bought like 25 filters at a dealership when my dad bought a new big red side by side. I'm not sure which dealership it was, but it seems like they were something like $3 each for the 250es big red filters. They were located in the UP of Michigan, just across the boarder from Wisconsin. I think they were some main supplier for Michigan or something like that, so they had the best prices, heck the side by side was like $2000 cheaper than local.

x 2 on the emigo 's.. rode my 350x everyday for 20 years hard and started smoking from the valve seals and tore into it and I could still see the cross hashing's in the cylinders = just honed the cylinder and put new standerd size rings in it... that's good enuff 4 me...
