for whatever reason.
kinda like reality these days.
Funny we had less street violence back when those shows were on all the time.

Archie was probably the best sitcom character of all time. Like you said due to the political correctness of today YouTube is about the only place to find clips of the show.Dukes of Hazard, Knight Rider, BJ and the bear...

I used to watch alot of PBS when I was a kid growing up.. And being that I was always sort of into science and whatnot, remember 3-2-1 Contact?? LOL! Another one of my favorites.
Then in afternoons, it was always a fight between me and little brother.. He wanted to watch Mr. Rogers, I wanted to watch Magnum P.I.! HAHA!
